many vegetables, so many flavours, so many ways to prepare. We could probably
spend a lifetime exploring vegetables, vegetable dishes from around the world
and how to make the best of their wonderful flavours. In
this series of Gourmet vegetarian Classes we'll take our inspiration primarily
from the wonderful array of seasonal vegetables available locally, but the recipes
will have a definite international mix. As
well as inspirational recipes using old favourites we'll also look at some of
the less well known vegetables and discuss how they can be used. In
a hands-on day, we will emphasise the importance of ingredients such as grains,
legumes and rice as well as wonderful,seasonal veggies. The
workshop is designed for ovo-lacto-vegetarians and is suitable for both experienced
vegetarian cooks and those just beginning to explore the wonders of the plant
based eating. Vegetables are locally sourced, mainly form Riverford
Farm Organic Box Delivery but supplemented from our own garden and other producers.
In
this hands on class you'll get to grips with every stage of the preparation process.
We'll end the day with a late lunch of all the dishes we've prepared which we'll
enjoy with a glass of wine while we discuss how we can put into practice what
we've learned. You'll go away confident and inspired to try new recipes on friends
and family. |
